Hi, my name is Emma and I’m Editor in Chief of Wordsmith Library! I am a University of Leeds graduate with a BA English Literature degree. I launched Wordsmith Library during my final year as I wanted an online space for myself and others publish their creative writing.
I created Wordsmith Library to be a community for aspiring writers. I don’t want to limit the subject matter, form or theme of the writing here! When searching for places to publish my own writing, I found it difficult to write freely without keeping a specific publication in mind and tailoring my creativity to that. That’s why we believe in writing without limits here!
My favourite writers range from George Orwell to Oscar Wilde to Jane Austen. I love to read an eclectic mix of literature and so getting to read our submissions every day is so exciting for me!
